A mate of mine is looking at buying an 06 plate ST-3 in Orange and wants me to go and have a look at it with him.

What do I need to keep my eyes open for? Usual faults/problems etc

Thanks guys

gears, check 2nd to 3rd gear doesnt crunch when driving fast. leather on the drivers seat can go loose or saggy and needs to be replaced under warranty. stone chips on front bumper as its a costly colour to respray. and tyres as the wear out quite quick on the fronts.

also check the sideskirts aren't peelng away from the bodywork. this is more of a problem on 08 + plates here they didn't stick them down properly in the factory but can still happen to pre-facelifts.

oh and the drivers door will sometimes make a squeaky noise at motorway speeds, it needs some form of ''gunk'' around the bottom of the door to stop this.

Because of the fact it's a relatively high powered FWD car that may have seen some abuse I'd say.

Its standard damo. Yours will be gay and old. His is fresh new and abused. Don't expect those kind of figures.
