My 106 has been broken for about 6 weeks now, road tax is up now so I took it to my sisters to store it (im taking over my sisters house soon), thought i'll get it looked at some time in the summer when I start making it a track car.
As im waiting outside for her to open up her gates her neighbour comes over and starts talking to me, I tell him what up with it and he offers to try and see if you can work out whats wrong with it (hes a mechanic).
Instantly diagnosed it and is going to bring his diagnostic machine round to confirm. Said he owes my sister a favour so he's going to fix it for free !

MAF sensor, never through up the EML light though so I never really knew where to start looking.
