Had this all day today, Khan Bentley Continetal GT with 25k miles but the paint was in horrible condition, swirl marks everywhere as the car never really gets polished. It gets washed 2-3 times a week at a handcarwash which will be the cause of the majority of the swirls.
Heres a few pics of how the car looked when it got dropped off.

Wheels

Tailpipes

Swirls

Door Shuts {sorry pic is at a weird angle}

I started by going round the doorshuts and difficult to reach places such as the mesh in the grill to clean them. Here sa during pic of the door shuts

I then started with the wheels using a watered down acid solution to clean the stubborn stains at the back of the wheels. Wheels have been powdercoaed so durable enough finish to use acids on.
I then cleaned the faces of the wheels and the backs with a varitey of brushes and a sponge with warm soapy waper using megs next gen car shampoo.

Wheels After

The arches were then pressurewashed out and a variety of brushes used to scrub them although no pics of this.
The car was then pressure jetted to remove some of the dirt and was then washed using the 2bm method with megs wash mitt and megs next gen shampoo.

Rinsed

Car was then dryed using microfibre towels.
I then clayed the car using Clay Magic, here was the claybar after the wing and the door on the n/s

I then masked the car up then assessed the paint for damage
Dully hazy/swirled paint.

Scratch on bonnet

I then started to machine the car using a 3m yellow pad and 3m fast cut plus.

Poor attempt at a 50/50 pic

Closeup of the side that was done

And the side that hadnt been done

Reflection in door

Getting there

Car was then washed again after id finsihed with the fcp as it is really dusty. Washed it and dried it and machine polished it with Sonus something or other that i cant remember the name of but was very very impressed with.
Then I gave it a coat of Megs Tech Wax although didnt take any pics. Then i gave it a finished coat of Megs Stage 3 Carnuba Wax

I then made a start on the interior which wasnt dirty at all really in all fairness. Rear Mat

Under the mat

Vacummed

And matt vacummed and put back in:

Front Passenger footwell, no before pic, sorry

The leather at the knee support in the front seats was quite dirty

The seat was vacummed then cleaned with AG Leather Cleaner

The actual seat was quite dirty so used leather cleaner on it all, did a 50/50 but doesnt show the difference that well

Didnt need to do anything on the drivers seat as it had recently been replaced due to stains from the customers jeans.
Doorcard were quite grubby in places

After

Pedals Before

After

Vents and switch recesss were taken care of with a small brush.

Clocks Before

After

Dash was cleaned with AG Leather cleaner due to the majority being leather, Plastics were dressed with AG Vynyl and rubber care. Glass and clocks were cleaned with AG Glass Cleaner
Boot Was just given a quick Vaccum

I then started on the engine bay due to boredum, did have anything with much of a bight to it to shift the harder stuff as i had left it elsewhere so had to settle for quick detailer
Before

During

After it was cleaned i dressed it again with ag vynal and rubber care

Underside of bonnet was just cleaned with quick detailer aswell

And finially the finished item

Tailpipes After
Tailpipes were cleaned with Megs metal polish and steel wool

Wheels

And a few interior pics

Reflections

Flake

And to finish off

Comments welcomed.

Paintwork looks to have come up pretty nicely Probably SFX-1,2 or 3 you used to refine it?
Hopefully 2 or 3 as 1 is another harsh cutting compound and would have left just as many buffer trails as the FCP on it's on would have done. Personally 3M ultrafina after the FCP would have been a good choice imo.
A couple of points / questions though:
Wheels - Why didn't you use any wheel cleaner on them? It may just be the photo's but they really don't look that shiny afterwards like you'd expect - think they may have needed a bit more than shampoo? Also, for a full detail, grime all round the spokes as seen in this photo isn't really on:

And did you do anything with the roof? It doesn't get mentioned in the write up and then just folded away for the after photo's...

Most of the car looks good, but as said, the wheels are still dirty.

Results on the face of it look good for the products you used.
If entertaining taking this up properly amd doing prestiege cars I would look to invest in some decent detailing gear.

Was a bit of a joke, but if I'm not mistaken he's some sort of footballing bigwig. Guy lives in the same area as me.
What they saying about it on detailing world?

Guy knows i will be using it for promo stuff so doesnt mind me using the pics. And the wheels were clean but after id finished i took it out to turn it and used the brakes heavily and dust kicked up everywhere. Wheels were shiny as feck due to the flake in them.
And for who ever asked, its from newton mearns the car.
