any1 know of a way i can check the registered owner of my car as the guy never had the v5 when i bought it and he told me hes recieved it and sent it away again any help atall would be apreciated thanks

I dont no if you can ring up the DVLA and ask them to confirm it, might be against data protection. Worth a shot though.

ring dvla, explain the situation... they might not tell you the name on the v5 but if you tell them who you are they will tell you if its you or not?
