Right-o

Some one I know is selling BMW 316i on G plate

the car is in white, looks shiny and suprisingly hasnt got much rust! although there is one big sport on rear arch, and some on the bottom of the sills...

interior seems to be in VGC after a quick look
Milleage is 122k which is low IMHO
10 months MOT

No idea how much to put it for sale for?
£995??

I paid a grand for a 325i about 5yrs ago!!

Looked alright, no rust on the body. Underside was a different story.

£995 might be a bit much.

There's a difference between rare and there being none about because they are that old.

Rare in the way we are talking about in the thread regarding prices is something that's sought after, not many made, along those lines.

An old low powered beemer is rare (if you want to call it that) because it's old and they're all scrapped, this doesn't make it worth more.

It's a 316, it's never been desirable. I wouldn't give more than £500 tbh.

My mate bought one of them 3 years ago,

Fully re sprayed it, got some new suspension, new wheels and sold it for £1100

Base spec ones like that are work feck all, especially in an auto.

With it being

nearly 20 years old
not desireable
not fast
not good on petrol
not very good handling
not IMMACULATE
and it's a 316

You'll be bored of getting offers around the £400 mark...

I don't know why people bother asking on here when they know they'll get a realistic answer most of the time and not just what they want to hear.
