always thought corsa tanks were 38 litres?
oh and some people in here will hate it when they upgrade to more powerful engined cars

I put £43 in the pug earlier. If i get less than 450 miles to that i'll stab myself in the head. I'll aim for 500 miles

i can do around about 200miles on about £25 - £30 worth of fuel, combined with motorway driving and town, absolutly raggin my 1.0 12v to get it to move lol, also had a full car and foot was planted to floor on way back from doncaster (110 miles on way back) was doing between 80 and 110mph lol

If you dont rev above 2k, surely you would be better with a 1.0l? As you wont be going fast anyway.
Are 1.6 sports that bad on fuel I dread our next car when we get rid of the diesel astra (50l tank and get about 450 ish miles to it) and maybe switch to a petrol car

Probably the worst car i've owned to run, fuel wise.
Xe's are more economical.

well im my old astra (1.8 16v)
i could normally do about 70 miles to a tenner driving averagely
and on 25£ went from leeds to filey
then went to scarbrough and back to filey
then brid to filey etc and then home think i did 150 ish miles and filled up 15£ back in leeds
but imo driving on country roads at 60 everywhere (legal limit)
150 miles to 30l was very acceptable from 1.8
