My mate has a badboy & extended bonnet, and thinks it won't pass an MOT because of the headlights, says the bonnet is obstructing (sp) the beam..

Hows everyone else's bonnets got on?

as long as 50% of the headlight is showing and it doesn't seriously affect the light output or beam image then it will be ok.

a standard badboy bonnet will be fine

Sounds pretty daft to me. Mine passed with a badboy'd bonnet and I've never heard someone complain on here about it.

Adjusting the headlight aim is easier than swapping bonnets.

Put it in for MOT as it is. If it doesn't pass, then it shouldn't be on the road tbh.

I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.
