So how much of the car did they let you use? Foot to the floor at many points?

It all depended on the instructor really, the chap in the porsche was fairly old and was telling me what gear / speed I should be doing in the corners, the young chap in the scuderia was letting me floor it at some points (the long left hander) before the chicane at the end the noise when the exhaust valve opened

The chap in the lambo was fairly cool, he told me to race one of the single seaters on my last lap

Only managed to hit about 130/140 but was taking corners between 50-90 mph I just couldn't believe the sheer grip of all of the cars there

The last part of the day was a flying lap in a Mazda RX-8 I knew he'd nail it made all of my laps look really slow I said to him when we were going around a long right-hander that they must have put race tyres on this and he was like "no no all standard road tyres"

All in all top day managed 7mpg in the lambo too

Nice one!

Yea the Porsche Cayman is a really nice car tbh, really liked it I will say that when they mark you (you have a scorecard for your event) they mark you on the first part (the cayman in your/my case) I only got 74% and by the end of it I got 88% in the lambo

Your Focus is probably easily on par with the Porsche / Mazda's they have there (Mazda 3 MPS)
