I removed my rub strips today...
What's the best way to get rid of the sticky tape they leave?? I used t-cut and about 2 hours on my badges and cba doing it that way lol... How have other people done it without using a toffee wheel??

Tar and glue remover, I think some people have used petrol too.
Would have been easier if you'd heated the strips with a heatgun first as it then removes most the glue with it, bit late now though!

i used my old bank card and auto glym tar remover took about 2 hours but i noticed it left light scratch's which won't go

I use a hair dryer and some intensive tar remover, never taken more than 10 mins.

I gave up trying to do it without toffee wheel, and took it to a friend of a friends to get it done.
I tired everything including petrol, credit card etc and took me hours. Toffee wheel took matter of seconds

Only done the passenger side atm, I used a heat gun to remove strips but still left lots of glue, got it off using t-cut and my nail lol, took around 2 and half hours, cba doing drivers side now! lol

I used a boiled kettle when i done my white corsa. Just poured it slowly over the top of the strips. Melted most of the glue away
