i went on one of the vxr trackdays last year and i was a bit disapointed to say the least. all the fwd cars but the corsa just understeered and you had to hard turn in and lift off to get any over steer and the electronics were a pain in the ass.
the monaro thing was dead slow and so heavy it took ages to stop then you would start drifting it out of a corner and the electronis would cut in and try and straighten the car up meaning you struggled to make it round the corner!
how ever the corsa vxr was by far the best drive balanced and poised in the corners with its short and snappy 6 speed box it was easy to keep on song and could be balanced in the corner with the throttle without any electronics kicking in. the brakes were fantastic ( the same 308mm brakes as my 1.5ton barge!) and for a road car i couldn't believe ho much fun it was on track! i even considered buying one if it wasnt for the build quality, slightly girly front end and those horrid coloured dash lights

well yeah its got 400bhp or what not but it must weigh getting on for 2 tons, it has really long gearing and a lazy reving v8 so it isn't that quick, honest.
thats on a race track of course.
