I am looking for people who have had first hand experiances with the new generation Ducato vans, they look like this:

I am not interested in the older vans as its completely different, so just this shape. If you have had any experiance with them I want to know the normal stuff really:

What the engines like and which one was it you drove?
Whats the spec like?
Driving Postion?
Dealers any good?
Any Problems?
Would you buy one with your own money (if it was owned by your employer)

Just any feed back would be great thanks

HAd one as a hire van at work. The suspension was rock hard at the rear and was like a pogo stick, but i should imagine with it loaded up that it will be better. The clutch was like a switch, but it was plenty fast and had a good view from the cab

what was the build quailty like Jimmy? would you buy one with your money?

Reson I ask is I need to buy a new van and the only other companies that do 4m payloads are Ford Transit (never again) sprinter/Crafter - great build quailty but to get anything like a decent spec is 32k and the Ducato which is 18k - which is a hell of a differance.

Mat, what term and mileage are you looking at? Will the van be brand new?
I can run some service, maintenance and repair projections fairly easily...
