Ash I was talking about standard for all 3. i.e. rx7 280 bhp (although I don't think any are anymore )

I personally think it'd all come to driver ability / bottle. Basically the biggest factor on any track is generally how hard the driver is willing to drive (as simple as 1 driver keeping FLAT out way past 120 mph and the other throttling back as they pass say 110)... or keeping committed through a bend and another braking early / limping through the bend and caining it on the next straight.

however, I stand by the fact given same driver - all cars standard. It should be vx220 turbo, rx7, s2000. Although on a longer track like the nurburgring with long straights a rx7 may have an advantage.

When does the VX come on boost Adam? Thinking in terms of lag vs. exit speeds now

Question should be more when is it not on boost Seriously you can drive it like a complete plank and still go scary fast very easily, my old standard one (190 bhp + 210 ft lbs) started pulling hard at 2k rpm up to about 5.5k with a little flat spot just before 4k. Current one with a remap pulls just after 2.5k strong right up to 6k before tailing off just in time for the limiter. Small turbos FTW.

Also worth noting, even on the road you can be on the power well before you need to be pointing in a straight line as long as its not really tight or wet. Strange that, any other time mentioning tight and wet would only be a good thing.
