My X reg Vectra 2.2 SRi with 48k on the clock
for a W reg Saxo VTR with 82k
Both in v good condition, saxo has been lowered with stainless exhaust, ind kit, sound system etc..
Hes offered me a swap plus £800 my way, im planning to sell the saxo on.
Any thoughts? I cant help but think its a huge down grade to a saxo but the figures are pretty similar with the extra money offered.

No tbh, I think the vectra will sell easily and you will probably get more that way.

up to you. do you want 800 right away then try and sell a saxo, or are you after the full price of vectra as your not really desperate for the money?
really depends on the circumstances

Really? Ive looked and the price of Vectras have dropped loads lately, im thinking of selling the modded bits as im sure a standard Saxo would be worth more or would atleast be more appealing?
Thanks for the comment

Not arsed about selling, just fancy something different, i know the lad hes a mate of a mate so its not some random bloke on the net.
Gav - Tis a barge but she aint too thristy!
I just dont use the car now ive got the company van, it rarely gets used in the week at all.
I was looking at 106 GTis for a weekend thrash-about. I dont need the money from the Vectra, just dont want to loose to much on it so i thought id sell now

As it is or standard ish?
Im hoping to sell the exhaust system and sound system
Exhaust is quite loud and could put some people off, cat back S/S so should fetch a few £ on the saxo club, sound system is Sony HU, 2 amps, big sub, 6x9s etc..
Id leave it lowered though cause i dont fancy arsing about with torsion bar, it does have an uprated torsion bar though

uprated torsion bars are £400 new! standard should be worth around 1500, so strip the non standard bits and you could make some cash back

Its not worth £1500, top whack on it will be £1200 if its mint or about a grand if it isnt.
Its worth the swap if you dont need the vectra, and your vectra certainly isnt worth the possible £2000 coming your way with the saxo swap!

I would say no.
I don't think the saxo is worth £1500 like said.
89k is quite a lot.
£1000-1200.
