how much would be a reasonable price to pay for a full...and i mean full....c20xe conversion??
it includes:
fully rebuilt c20xe with new valves, seals, gaskets
4-2-1 manifold
magnecor leads
corsa diesel arb
arb spacers
mpi fuel pump
f16 box
full convertion kit inc shafts, mounts, cv's, etc
ecu
loom
the only other things you would need is an electric speedo, plug and play dash loom adapter and brakes
personally i feel around £1000 might be a bit much but i would be hoping for something around that as its pretty much all you need and would save a lot of time and effort trying to get all the parts together.
really im just wondering what people would think is a reasonable figure?

im rebuilding the engine myself. im a fully trained mechanic with the correct tools so its not going to be a shoddy job. if people think i'll get that sort of money then i might post it up for sale once ive finished rebuilding it. probably start at £2000 but open to offers and best offer gets it

I wouldn't bother building it if your just going to sell it tbh...
Harder to sell a XE'd corsa than a standard corsa from what i've seen..

depends what people want if its going to cost me not alot and a few hours work to get more money then it'll be worth it. its a cocast head by the way will that make much of a difference? i can also have a set of r1 carbs on an xe manifold for an extra bit more money

you would probably get the same amount of money if you sold the engine and the car separate tbh.

if building engine urself and doing it properly, i.e honing(if within tolerance) or overbore, then between £450-700 for engine build if need to get new pistons and block bored.

its getting de-coked, new valves, stem seals, buckets, basically a full head rebuild. bottom end is just getting cleaned and maybe a set of piston rings and shells. it will be posted for sale with a full list of things done to it. its not in a car its just all the parts listed separately. if i get an offer for the full kit then if its ok i'll probably take it but if not i'll either sell separately or just put it in my car.
