I for one think its ridiculous to lower the speed limit, it won't make a blind bit of difference to a 17 year old lad who has just passed his test will it?
e.g. A lad of 17 in my area crashed two weeks ago killing his best mate and seriously injuring himself and 2 others, he was doing over 100mph when he crashed. Change the speed limit from 60 to 50, do they seriously think that would have made the lad think hold on a second I better slow down??? Would it fuck, the real retards are the people within the Government who come up with these daft ways of spending money In my area, there have been a lot of fatalities in recent years, I think it may be the worst in Scotland but can't be certain. It won't matter what they try as everything I can think of has been tried in my local area.

Exactly! ^^
That's what I'm saying, they're already changing it wide spread, it's just a progressive change...
People who say 'it'll never happen are so nieve'.

people wouldn't be that bothered, if they just started changing them, you wouldnt notice it as much..
but due to being in the press, everyone complains about it

I wonder how much road deaths are down to people speeding / being drunk? Im sure it would be way over 50% so surely this isnt gonna make hardly any difference

I don't give a fuck to be honest
I'll just leave 10 minutes earlier. The Government aren't going to listen to this petition, as they don't really care what the UK population want. They never have, and never will.

I don't think they should make a maximum speed limit for roads, there should be a minimum speed limit, the amount of times i come home from work and get stuck behind some one doing 30 on a 60 road towards my house is annoying to say the least, if i can take the whole road at 70 and only have to brake twice then surely people can do it at more than 30.
End Rant
