The other day my next door neigbour confronts me claiming ive hit his car, when i havent even done it.
he knew fully well i had a small scuff on the rear passenger side of the bumper, with a small dent wich has gone in the rusty colour..
anyway, ive been intouch with the police, and the police officer said he wont say his judgement to me , my car is quite low down, where as his car is high up..
and he said he rang his insurance company, as i did myself.. asked them if he had been intouch.. NOPE !!
somthing smells iffy , he had a quite word with my dad asking for 200 quid to do it outside of insurance, my dad told him to do one !!
ive noticed that he has made the drivers side wing look worse, than it was before, i have photos of the alledged damage and i will get some of the new damage he now has put on the car.
my insurance is 3rd party fire n theft..
can he still claim money out of that?

so he has contacted the police?
has he just chapped your door and said you have bashed my car 
tell him to do one, cant prove anything, wouldnt even waste my time worrying about it

what an idiot. never pick a fight with your neighbour, your property will only come off worse 
as a_j said, he can't prove anything and he has no witnesses. line up the damage between his and your car and take lots of photos.
he can still claim yes, just means you won't be able to get your car fixed on your insurance.

no, my car has been up forsale since dec 08 its on ebay, aswell.. been on the twice now, 21 people watching.. no bids..

just looked out the window, his now taken the bore exhuast off and swaped the wheels, all the origanl parts are now back on the car, for futrue reffence, ill be installing a hidden camara cctv
