Cant see how theve got it to 200bhp with basicly just cams an tb's...

Was expecting to see gas in the spec.

its not just cams and tb's though.

i dont think someone is going to go to the expense of dry sump and steel crank..£2.5k+ and not have steel rods, pistons(prob slippers) serious head work etc and more than likely rev to 8.5k + soon make 200bhp out of a screaming 1400

Yeh but look at Brosters spec thats a 1.6 and not much over 200bhp iirc

If Suzuki can get 250bhp from a 1300cc short-block (in standard form) why is it so hard to believe?

I know it'd be tuned for a 1400 class... regs

but if you bought it, surely you could swap the bottom end over and get 1600cc on the same 'engine' well at least top end.

IIRC Brosters new spec will be approx 240 bhp

keith piper had a 190bhp 1400, untill it put a rod through the block at 9k, and caught on fire

for any doubters just look at the 2 names involved, Field Motorsport, and Eurorallye (Iain Shirlaw) i reckon it will do as it says on the tin
