Thats fair enough.
Only issue I could see with inlet temps rising is that you do 1/4 miles and sitting on the line will increase the temp on the inlet pipes (hence warming the air coming through) so could be handy for your 1/4s. Won't make any diff on the road though where theres a constent airflow.
Aye, heat wrapping manifolds Have fun with that one, but worth it (as long as the fecker doesn't crack).

yeah i know what your saying. although i dont leave it running in the queue much. normally push it round then start it up a minute or so before i get to run.
hopefully manifold wouldnt crack. its been made with some lovely welding.
