Do you think this wheel is still fine and safe for road use, or will it have been weakened?
It was damaged slightly in a pot hole, but it still seals with the tyre and isn't buckled so it doesn't vibrate at speeds.
I'm just curious about the stress marks visible in the pics below. They look like scratches, but they're under the lacquer, so i'm assuming they're stress marks.

Cool. I was hoping that would be the answer.

I was just a little confused why the marks appeared so far away from the point of impact, but i guess it kinda makes sense now.

i would still use ot if the wheel itself isnt cracked
