Any modern cars have problems, you are deluded if you think otherwise. The Polo/anything else VAG is as prone to breaking as anything else.

go 1.6 then, could twou stretch to group 7 for astra dti, if you definetly want diesel, you sure you want to note away from vaux? They aint that bad

Groups mean just about nothing, I don't believe people still make car buying decisions based on groups without getting a quote.

the fiesta is a nice car there great to drive and handle brill.
my mum has had 3 now not many faults with the car, other than the doors collect water and rust from the inside, it will cost you a arm and a leg to change the radio in one because you have to buy a new dash from ford.
also engine and gearbox are loud
and the seats do not surport you one bit.
