Finally got the firken sidelight changed, thought I would take a quick peek at the filter - changed it for a nice new one. What I want to know, is the above just a dirty air filter that needs changing, or should this have been changed before it got this dirty?

edit - it was serviced at a garage in May/June 08, so thats around 9 months worth of driving, about 8000 miles

Nah thats about time to change it. Have seen far worse. I would normally just change it yearly.
