Why do the tickets cost so much?

Been pricing it up and its pretty expensive even to go to Silverstone. Half tempted to fly out to the Spanish or Europe (Valencia) one, least theres a chance of decent weather with them

You can get return flights to Barcelona for £80. Guess you have to think about the extra cost of staying somewhere and hiring a car then though

You're not going to be seeing much F1 at Silverstone TBH.

F1's just best watched at home.

Worth it to see it once just to say u've seen it, but the coverage is so much better on TV.

AS u've said, going abroad will be more fun and probably work out a similar price. Just take a tent

I love watching it on the TV but I'd like to experience it for real! The noise must be amazing

If I was going to splash out to see it, I'd go to see it somewhere with a decent chance of sunshine. Don't think I'd even consider Silverstone TBH.

Loved it when i went in 98 and 99. Went for the full race in 98, sat in the Top Gear stand on Becketts. Pissed it down that day and took 3 hours to get out the car park

Second time went just for qualifying and that was good too. Can't beat the sound and the atmosphere was great when Damon went past.

All the far away circuits look like amazing places but will cost a fair bit in flights!

Can you see much if your not in one of the grandstands?

And if it rains (its in England so likely) your not undercover?

Of course not. On the contrary. It is a far superior sport to F1 racing of recent years.
