Currently got 2 corsas, 1 white L reg gsi rep 67000 miles 1.28v and i also have a v reg black 1.0 12v 97000 miles.no mot or tax on the black one been lyin up for 8 months.

Do i split the black one as intended or do i get it roadworthy and strip the white one put the kit etc on the black one then get a decent engine????

That sounds like a good idea, and break the black one gain some extra revenue from it.

if i was in your position, i'd sell/break both of them and buy a post 97 sport and go from there - would make more sense imo.

The v reg shelll is the one to keep by a mile... Mileage really doesnt matter, age comes first every time in that situation..

Get the V reg mot'd, then stick the GSi kit on it, sell/slap on bigger engine and sell. Scrap the L reg or sell it if it's in decent nick!
