IIRC he works at some kind of place where he can order these things in bulk easily.
Anything is cheap the more you buy.
Think about it logically.
Its not quite that simple to 'legally' buy licensed goods. If it was ASDA would be selling Nike

Well, you think you know best, so there's no arguing is there. I'll just let ste do the talking.

You cant just ring-up Lacoste and order 50 polo shirts!
I know someone who bought one from Ste, compared it to one he bought from the high-street and it was a copy, admittedly it was a good copy.

There's no 'seems' about it, unless I receive some sort of proper information about this then it's fine. I'm not about to even pretend that we can warrant every single sale, indeed I'm busy enough with people who take money and do one to start considering the quality or price of goods on offer. That is the job of buyers - who picking up on your second point are free to spend their money where they wish.
I would imagine that if a complaint were to occur it would be the buyer in the first instance who would take it up with Ste if they were unhappy. If this wasn't rectified then they would contact trading standards or whoever deals with counterfeits who would probably investigate the reality of it and inform me.
But in the absence of a complaint from a buyer, I'm no more going to police it than they are.

Buying in bulk is cheaper and if you know the right people its even easier.
Another point though is that if the person selling the items has bought them thinking they were legit and will sell them on as legit. The supplier is to blame.

i ordered 3 lacoste shirts from big ste ages ago and they seem good quality. he said they were genuine and i have no reason to disagree with him yet.
although, 1 shirt is a different size to the other 2, even though they're labelled the same size. but cheap enough.

Just seen this and fuck knows how it's all on me
Listen lads there is no-one more jubious than me when it comes to discounted stuff claiming to be genuine.
When I first got offered the chance to buy Lacoste a couple of years ago I bought one as a sample, wore it under my coat, went into Lacoste and took a shirt into changing room..... 100% identical in every way, location and size of croc, how the stitching is done, quality of material, tags, etc etc
I know these are real and people have a choice, they either buy or they don't! Not had one back yet so they must be ok!
As for other comments in there:
Uggs: bought these off a guy on CS-Doldy I think he was called. Absolutely spot on and everyone who bought them was happy
GHD's: my lass is a hairdresser, she got them cheap from her salon. I made a fiver a pair.
End of day, make of them what you will.
Thanks to everyone who backed me up but buying things over t'internet people can only ever have 99.9% confidence, for 100% confidence go pay £55

I'm going to be ordering a couple of polos of Ste soon
As for fakes etc, if you want to be 100% safe then stick to the shops and pay the rip off prices. Theres always a element of risk buying off anyone ebay/freeads/friends etc, but most of the time with a bit of common sense you'll come out on top.

WHO CARES, if they look nice and good quality, who gives 2 shits about a fucking label, its not a school playground,
SIMPLE if you like it buy it
If you give two shots about how real a "label" is, and are unsuer, DONT.........
