im having a dilema.. lol, so many ways to take the tuning now of my car and im just not sure which is the best to do..
plans for this year 170 - 180 bhp (190 would be nice), plans for the future... supercharge st 1 or 2.
so, atm i have the following
2.4 manifold
ported TB
4-1 manifold
2.5" downpipe
200 cell cat
2.5 ubend
piper backbox
k&n filter
i can only assume with the above id be about 150 maybe more.
initially my idea was piper reground cams then remap to suit..
but then i started getting ideas like, standalone management which i can carry on to the s/c
then i was thinking about just a remap, with what ive got and not bother with cams..
i just dont know what to do..
i was thinking about buying the cams, and fitting them myself to save labour charge then getting a rolling road remap done with standard ecu only problem is i have no idea how to fit cams, and dont have the tools to take the engine out if its an engine out job which im not sure it is but i dont know.
i would also like to do the balancer shafts and fit a lightweight flywheel at some point but thats deffo an engine out job.. and again, no clue what im doing..
im hoping that with cams and a rolling road tune i would see 170 - 180 but im not sure.
so advise would be much appreciated here..

z22se
reason im not looking for huge power increases is that the car only weights 850kg..

woah, thats light
cams are a lot of money tbh, if u have it get the cams and a remap, i dont know much about the z22se but i reacon u wud have 25-30 bhp increase.
wudnt bother with the flywheel until u need a clutch lol, too much hasle...

I've never seen a z22se/l61 on throttle bodies, what about that?
