Didn't want to type "on the piss" in the title.

Is it usually a sign that the conversion / strengthening kit hasn't been used?

the strengthening kit won't make a difference to how the engine sits, that looks like the gearbox mount isn't on propperly or its recked

Strangthening kits aren't needed in standardish corsa XE's. I'd agree with dan, it's most likely a fucked mount.

corsa's don't really need them as their quite stiff anyway, unlike nova's which are prone to flex and strech

Nice reg

I sacked off the gearbox mount and haven't got a lean like that. Must be a bush or something gone. Easy fit I bet.

You don't see that very often - two consecutive regs where they're both modded!

That engine may even have the wrong mount fitted. Fixing it would be a bit awkward if you need to be under the car for the box mount but the side ones are not too much hassle to make it impossible.

Just saying, sometimes there isn't actually anything wrong with it.

Mine sits like that to clear the bonnet.

could be more than likely driver side mount id say. pulling the engine up, as opposed to the other end leaning down?

imo its a type 2 shell with a front rubber mount of the type 1 8v shell as the bolt holes spaces are about an inch in difference in height
