So are roof boxes, tow bars, caravans, and guess what, they all look crappers too.

Love the wheels, really suit Astra Mk4s.

However that bonnet thing looks stupid.

It may be "practical|" But 99% of cars survive without it

You must know yourself that that's an invalid point.

Bras help prevent stone chips, which is a practical purpose. I don't see why so many people think that they're the new 'lexus lights' as in a terrible looking visual mod. They're not to everyone's taste but as long as they're getting used for the purpose then it's fine imo.

And roof boxes, towbars and caravans are all for camping. The only thing that relates them to a car bra is the fact you might be able to use the bra as a hammock or something.

People didn't use bonnet bra's to protect paint until it was 'cool' to have one on.

But it was only when they became cool that most people would realise they could actually get one for their car. And I've got to agree with you, it's a bonus to some people that think they look good.

As with most things, it just comes down to personal opinion. I've got no problems with people having them to protect paint, but a plain black bra to look cool isn't really my cup of tea - although they can look good on certain cars, in my opinion of course.
