Passenger side:

Drivers side:

How would I go about fixing that, or how much would a garage charge, the hose clips dont seem to be there, will I need a new one or just more clips?
(I also think that was the source of the clicking noise )

I think it was only clicking because it had moved and was catching on something.

The metal in the cv joint that's no longer got any grease in it probably clicks though.

Is there much play in the joints?
If so yours CV joints will have gone. Cost me £200 for them on my Ibiza (both sides) will probally be cheaper if its a corsa

From my understanding the boot just holds the grease in and stops dust and dirt getting in.
When it comes off the grease all gets out/dirt gets in and it's metal against metal.

Wheel off
bottom ball joint off
driveshaft nut off
pull suspension strut out so driveshaft comes out of hub
remove cv joint and boot
fit new cv boot and joint
pull suspension strut out and slide cv back into hub
bottom ball joint back on
refit driveshaft nut
refit wheel
In the style of Gordon Ramsey,
Cv replacement, done
