Wtf is the point in them ?

They are supposed to stop your bonnet getting stonechipped ? But the bumper remains unprotected .

bonnet would only rust after about a million years of being hammered by stone chips, no cover on bumper defeats the object as bumper would still get chipped and need painting as would look poo, waste of time. rather paint front end every 3 years and have it looking nice all the time instead of having a gay canvas across the front

the only way it would be justified is on a showcar which had just been painted and you didn't want any chips on the way to a show, or just trailer it so no they are poo

Load of wank.

If people are that bothered about stone chips may aswell leave it locked up in a garage and not use it.

''most'' are just trying to be (hate this word) ''scene'', others i can see the point of. say, if there had been 2k+ spent on paint and theres a show on and you gotta drive it there.

so yea i agree with most peoples views on these
