hi guys was wondering if you could help me with a few measurements i need from a corsa sport

i am currently in the process of designing a new inlet for a university project for the x16xe engine. It is a total redesign although the design specifiction states the standard throttle body must be maintained. I currently have a standard manifold and have measured that up to give me an idea for the space i have availiable for the new design
but i have noticed from pictures that the other aftermarket manifolds seem to be taller and possibly deeper than the standard so i wondering if someone who has a corsa sport could measure the area that a the manifold could fit in without causing problems with fitting and have to move things round in the bay.

i'd be looking for the length width height dimensions of the space availiable. I would do this myself but i dont have access to a corsa and theres no sports in the local scrappys.

thanks

You need to think about header length and decide weather you want to aim for peek torque or peek power.

All of the 1.4/1.6 16v's are the same block so just look at your own car.

no, i havent got a corsa any more ive got a 205. i am basing the project on a x14/16 though as i thought this would be good to see what gains can be made with a total redesign of the inlet, instead of changing the upper inlet for a box type plenum. i can post up ideas/sketches for anyone who is interested.

i was just hoping someone would help me out with the measurements, can chuck a few beer tokens there way for the effort
