has anyone got a tutorial on how to smooth the front bumper of a corsa b plz

1. Donor gm bumper
2. Cut recess from it and plastic weld it over the other recess on the bumper you are doing.
3. Fill
4. Smooth/sand
5. Prime
6. Paint
7. Sit back and admire

ahh ryte, looks like you looking to smooth the swage line too

key down the swage line and fill with fibreglass filler, try to get the basic shape so that you dont have to do much sanding work, once this is set, then start working your shape with Normal car bodyfiller,again get the shape when its wet so that you have less sanding work, make sure to use a sanding block, it isnt hard, jsut takes time and a good eye for detail

Bear in mind it is A LOT of work. Its something that i won't be doing again unless i've have time off work to do it. Getting the shape is the hardest part which i didn't get spot on.

Dont just fill the swage line with fibreglass fill. Use the donor bumper and cut strips off and plastic weld them aswell. Key the surface as well. This just means you're not filling a big gap with filler.

mines been fine with fibreglass and then filler for over a year but plastic welding is jsut as good

I just wouldn't run the risk of cracking (even though it shouldnt if done well).
