My mate had a 306 GTI6 followed by a 206 GTI (137bhp model) and he found the 206 more fun and responsive!
The 206 GTI can be picked up cheap now! I love them in moonstone!
Not sure what I;d rather have out of a 106 gti and 206 gti though with both being available at similar money?!

One exactly the same as the following has come up for sale at work. Can't help but think it looks like something is missing and doesn't look very sporty!? Is it due to the lack of the 16" Nimrods?
They;re asking £2k with following:

Very low mileage - under 50000
Alloys/half leather interior/cd changer/climate control/immobiliser/central locking
Excellent condition - inside and out.
