I Have The Chance To Have The Limited Edition Corsa Vxr-r From Thorney On Site This Saturday (7th Feb) For Test Drives Etc & Poss Astra Vxr-s For Static Display. I Will Also Have A Range Of Secondhand Network Q Vxr's Displayed For Sale From Corsa To Vxr8.
This Will Go Ahead ( Weather Permitting ) If I Have A Good Enough Responce, So Please Let Me Know If Interested.
It Will Be Held At Seward In Christchurh, Dorset.

all thorneys cars are under vauxhalls warranty, well so we are told......cant see it myself
iv diven a vxr vx220 and a vxr vectra to day
around the workshop though

Yep, GM press release today that all Thorney tuned cars are now covered by ALL mainstream Vauxhall dealerships. So you can be running 300bhp, LSD with coilovers and it will still have a 3 year warranty

GMUK Customer Care has now agreed terms for a warranty on vehicles modified by Thorney Motorsport.
This warranty applies both to pre-owned cars subsequently modified by Thorney Motorsport or any of their Performance Centres and the new limited edition VXR-S and VXR-R models for the Astra and Corsa range.
This warranty applies only to Thorney Motorsport modified vehicles.
GMUK’s existing warranty coverage and terms remains unchanged.
GMUK Customer Care have agreed with Thorney Motorsport a warranty claims procedure that provides the Vauxhall retailer with complete confidence in dealing with any Thorney Motorsport vehicle related failure thus enhancing the customers experience. Any failure directly attributed to any of the upgrade work is to be covered by Thorney Motorsport directly under identical terms to the GM UK warranty (subject to the existing terms as regards wear and tear and abuse).
This means that any vehicle modified from new or subsequent to purchase by Thorney Motorsport or any of their Performance Centres has complete 3 year/60k mile warranty coverage for the vehicle, standard servicing terms and requirements apply to all these vehicles

 that's awesome. So you could buy a used, 2nd hand car, private, say a Corsa VXR, get it modified at Thorney and it will still have warranty remaining
No mention of Thurlby stuff then?!

You should join another vauxhall car club
They do VXR driving days and you can drive the astra, corsa, vectra, and vxr8 around a circuit for a day, with a touring car driver as a passenger!
