That ones pretty nice, but the problem is theres no ZM's nearby for me to look at within 200 miles. Everything Ive mentioned I can find close to home within 5 miles.

If Jade was 100 miles away would you settle for a fattie?

Yeah

Id travel for a car I know I want/like, for example say I test drive a FRS next month & loved it, but can only get one in London or whatever, id be up for that. But according to PH's the nearest ZM coupe is in Kent, I dont even know if I like them. Worth travelling for incase I do?

I think a scirocco makes most sense to get.

Cayenne not that big lumpy 4x4 thing?

Id have a cayman, but would want the S I think, & your back up to 25k for that.

Scirocco I can get for under £20k in the spec I want with discounts.

They do look alot better in the flesh than in a pic I have to say. I didnt particularly like them at 1st.

Ive got visions of a similar one but with black BBS CH.

Those a nice drop similar to above & a remap/milltek should make for one heck of a car??

Yes that would look awesome. CHs will cost a hell of a lot...

Cant believe how much better a set of aftermarket wheels makes the car look. I wouldn't entertain one with the standard wheels but with some 19s its a different story!

Yes but thats what ive said if I skip factory 18's & metallic paint then theres a grand saved already. Sell the 17's with brand new tyres for a couple hundred & im not far off the cost of CH's!

Anyway , im away to Aberdeen all next week on a course. Probably no net all week so i'll continue the search the following weekend.

Hopefully get to see that Cayman as I couldnt be bothered going today.......ended up washing Jades mini instead

with what tyres?

some place in performance vag do them for bout 1400-1600 in 19s..

also, yes they are similar but the CK looks more modern and also bigger as the spokes go right to the edge of the rim.

CK suits the modern vags more IMO

Fook me buy one! Had it remapped today also with the milltek and panel filter. 260bhp but will go up 10 or so when the ECU has adapted and 280 torques. Phenominal now!

Needs proper wheels. My CH were 1400 quid with Bridgestones. Not sure why they would be more than that unless the wheels which look the same cost more or you're going for Michelins or something.

I did see one on the road in white and I'll be honest, I thought it looked like a Golf which had melted slightly. Does very little for me.

Loved these when I saw them in Top Gear magazine in the press shots - not overly keen at all now though - would rather a Golf.
