Is there a specific way of doing this?? Can i buy chrome paint ect, never really known how this is done and would like to get mine done somwhere if possible

you wont do it yourself.

Polishing maybe, but not chroming. It involves dipping.

chrome is fine as long as you keep it clean. Otherwise yes it will start to flake, but it'll take nearly 2 years to do it.
