Guy at work had one, paid something like 16k for it & got offered 4 or 5k for it a few year later in a trade in. Said it used lots of oil & was shit on petrol. Apart from that I think he liked it.
Like I said before I saw an 08 plate on the forecourt for £12k last week. Thats got to be some loss for a car not even a year old?

A lot of people are dumping newer ones as they fall into the highest tax since they changed it to be based on emissions Colin, not because they're shit cars.

Shit on fuel...shit on oil...not that fast...high mileage needs new engine or rebuild...not that fast.
Prove the fact that they need a rebuild?
Im sorry but this is a pointless reason for arguing a mazda performance engine when scoobs and evos and what not also need rebuilds constantly!
I've given up arguing with people who just regurgitate "facts". If you had a 1.3 piston engine that revved to 9k and produced 300+ bhp and lasted for 60k miles you'd be over the moon
Mine only popped due to poor maintenance (read "none") by a previous owner. And even when it blew, it still did a thousand miles and 1 1/2 laps of the Ring.
Ash i wouldn't have one! That's the point
Sorry, I should have said "if someone had" not "you", that's not how I meant it.
