I think its because some places dont let you advertise part-ex's when its up for sale. So putting that is another way?

W H Y isnt just part ex for cars... it means anything you have for a swap.

Saw it on Wheeler Dealers with Mike brewer... he bought someone a holiday and he had the blokes car.
