Right a truck reversed into the corsa when it was in the "safety" of the driveway and smashed the front left wind and bonnet .
So it went to a VW body shop because they are used to doing decent cars and I'm not paying, the truck company is. Well went there today to pick it up and they have done an utter shite job, the bonnet wasn't even on properly they said they would have to spray the bonnet and both wings to get a good front end colour match, but they only sprayed the bonnet and one wing . So told the guy to come out and look at how crap the job was. Also the colour is a shocking match. The car went there and then to the panel beater guy to align the bonnet properly, and got handed a form to sign saying I was happy with there work....no i bloody well am not . So got them to spray the whole lot again and the wing they didn't do.

Colour matching a Corsa can be a little difficult as some of them have several variants in colour, 547 the red commonly known as flame red or magmaron can be a bugger. Black can be just as difficult, I use the Debeers program at work and often have to use the colour cards to see actually which variant has been used on the car.

His VW garage are probally approved insurance repairers. Like my local VW garage, they have a whole seperate building for a bodyshop and insurance repairs, most of the south of nottingham are advised by insurance to go there!
