Been in the process of setting up a Mobile Valeting Business for a while now and im still stuck on what van i should go for?
Its between an astra van, a combo or a transit.
They all have their pro's and cons.
Astra Pro's: Can stick a gsi kit on it an make it look smart. Cons - No side loading door.
Combo: Pro's Quite high, side loading door. Cons - bit short length wise
Transit: Pro's - Twin loading rear doors, side door, height and length. Cons - possibly a bit big?
Anyone got any other suggestions? Got around 2.5k to spend. Dont want a transit connect coz i hate them.
Thanks

I had a valeting business for 4 years up until a month ago. I started out with a brand new combo which is imo a perfect size (had a 400ltr upright tank bolted to the bulkhead with tap coming out sliding door) although i sold that in favour of a astravan which has served me well although it is a tad small (only had a 250ltr upright tank which is enough water for 3 cars)
To sum it up get a combo without a doubt.

BTW there isnt even 1/4 as much money in valeting as there used to be, even less when you cant earn due to unexpected weather conditions, good luck though.

Combo, because it's Vauxhall. Make sure you get the higher payload one though

I'd worry about getting money in first rather than doing up the van.
Out of those though I'd get the Combo. Nice reliable vans.

yes forgot how it looks or could be made to look, its primary use is going to lugging enough stuff round to make you money. The bigger the better I would of said but I'm no expert.
Sure loads of the pro's on detailingworld will be able to give out good advice on what you should be looking for.
