My car has the old owners private plate still on, means nothing to us. However weve got the originals in the boot, when people say 'why do you have plates in your boot?' I say its for bilking

Had some funny face responses before

And only ever said by those who don't own one

You saying my mother waster her money on my birthday present years ago???

Who care what YOU think, I have my plate for me, to complete whatever motor vehicle its on. Not for some chumps on the road to go "oooooo thats Damo"

Police have never screwed me over, in fact when I was pulled over for some very high speeds, they even mentioned how good a plate it was.

And Donnas always getting comments. Not that we're fishing for them.

Thats because were the only ones with common sense not to buy one. Im glad your impressed that the police found your yellow and white plastic rectangles with black font on very good.

Can you not read? Are you now saying my mother is stupid?

I wasn't impressed, I found it amusing.

As I say, jealously is a bitter thing to have

Surley if you have no interest in personnal reg plates, you wouldn't be in this post? Or are you just here to slate the owners of plates?

Good to see the valuable input your adding to the post. Jog on chap

I can see the Saxo right this second from my window at work, it's been sitting there for the past 4 years, still looks in decent condition TBH. The plate is on an E46 330Ci now.

I was thinking of having N33 CRO on my next car if it was still available. Be a impulse buy though.

I didnt refer to your mother once within that post? Maybe your the stupid one? Im not going to get jealous over a private plate Not slating, just stating I feel they are pointless and hopefully my input may help let others spend their money more wisely as I dont find them worth it. Its valuable depending how you take it, so I wont be jogging on anywhere.

You dont need to have 51 in it..

It can be an older plate than that eg S reg or L reg.

But a 51 plate is the newest plate you can have on it.

Not me, if its on the way home it'll be Donna driving.

unless you caught me on the 1 single day i've taken the astra to work

Rich wasn't following a VXR lat night towards bluewater was he? Had a little play with a tuned Mk4 GSI, who wouldn't bloody slow down to have a proper "play".

Jealous

No hassle at all. Insure the plate, sorted.

You all must just get crap plates.

Mines awesome.
