just trailed all way through to barnsley to pick up my new corsa sri only to be told its not ready and ive got to wait till wednesday to pick it up, ive already waited 1 week for it, are all dealers this useless, im without a car for another 4 days now so looks like the bus to work on monday

they said they have been short staffed, even though theyve had all week to do it, the only thing they havent done yet is taken the silly dealer sticker from allover the car, its already been prep't and tax't i even offered to take it and remove the stickers myself but they wouldnt let me, now ive got to take a hour out of work wednesday morning

i would say the finance has started and i have no car.... also you want your juice for the wasted trip! i am asuming that they did not call you to say that its not ready?

yeah they are like this, I told them in the end that i was picking the car up and if the wouldnt give it to me I would pull out of the sale!

yes polar ford,
i managed to get a full tank out of them for free which i think is fair to say they havnt rang me, well they said theyve tried to get in touch and they had my number and i havnt had any calls.
they are going to ring me monday to confirm that ill be picking it up wednesday,

yes i think its a new building 'cos when i went with my dad it wasnt were i remembered it to be, in end i got a good deal out of them, with crunch and everything people are just dropping prices and getting rid, nows the time to buy

It used to be a Dixon Renault that place. It got shut down coz, i think, they went bust. Polar Ford used to be up Dodworth Road, about 2 miles away, head to the M1. I'm guessing they have moved there coz it's bigger and now they have 2 buildings, one for cars and the other for their vans.

every were seems to be going bust, evens helshaw at parkgate rotherham gone bust aswel i think,
the body shops still up on dodworth road, they just moved the show room, i think the van place been there a while

I remember driving past one night and seeing the place all empty and not really thinking about it. Then the next day driving past the whole car park is full of cars to be sold. I almost crashed into the car in front of me It was a big shock. They moved them both (somehow in about 2 mins) at the same time.

my mates just bought a car from some car supermarket place and they wanted to see an insurance cover note and claimed they couldn't tax it off a faxed cover note. Surely they can tax it off their own insurance? Thats what the last garage did for me, they didn't even hesitate in heading down the post office!
Everything seems too much hassle at the minute for some people! I would have asked if they wanted my custom to be honest, especially if the car is needed for work like my mates is aswell...
