Not very good unless you don't mind revving the nuts off it everywhere.

John wtf are you on about?? It's fine to drive at normal speeds
Yes it needs the cam to come in at 5K and then it really starts to shift but around town etc it has more than enough power get it off the line smoothly.
The drivers seat is a bit high but i'm 5'10 and have no problems with the driving position as long as i have the seat as far down as it will go and the wheel all the way down and the seat leaned back a bit.

I hated mine, clutch is stupidly hard also for especially town driving, and my 172 was lighter than the 182 i'd had a go of previously to that.
They are totally gutless under 4k and sound like they might explode above that.

I think you might have had a bad one mate
With my last car being a 320 brake Scooby i can say it isn't gutless at all and it sounds pretty meaty after 5K

I didn't have a bad one, my car was pretty immaculate tbh.
As said, the 182 I'd been in previously was worse.
The guy that bought my 172 had had 11 or something pass through the family and still had a V6, he thought my car was excellent so I stand by it's teh cars in general and not just mine.
