Does this really give the car a bit more sound?? Ive always had Pipercross cone filters, but ive just got myself a standard Mk3 astra gsi..(ecotec) and have been thinkin about doing this..... oh and off subject,, anyone know what 306 gti-6 go like,, one near me for sale..darkside

it makes the sound louder. without making ur engine bay looking cheap.

Gave mine a slightly louder induction tone Not as loud as a cone filter though

Depends really. Apparently lots of little holes will give it a raspy sound, and bigger holes a deeper roar.

GTi-6's are pretty quick machines! I'd say they are about even with a Corsa XE if that means anything

really?? that quick? ive always had vauxhalls not to sure weather to switch over just yet, thanks anyway about the air filter advice ill prob go for some holes keep yhe engine bay tidy.

Same sort of weight as your average Corsa, same sort of Power so not much in it at all

i might have to pick it up,be a bit more fun than the astra i expect, and the pug is only 800quid, 70'000 miles, really good condition, just has a slight blow in middle box, boys desperate for money....
