not been on for a while as i've been very busy.........
if you remember on the 4th of august I got a new project.....a 1948 Alvis TA14, well i've started a project thread here,

paul, your welcome to come and take a look (and have a brew) its been hard graft, every nut and bolt rusted up, having to take pics of everything cause they never did a workshop manual all good fun though and can't wait till she's finished and back on the road

forgot to say, its like a full time job!!!...I'm averaging about 4 to 5 hours per day on her, 2 hours in a morning (while youngest is at school half days) and about 2 to 3 hours at night (when wife comes home from work)

the front end is coming back together nicely now, radiator grill on and bonnet painted and back on......

I think you'll agree she begining to look good
I'm on with sanding the front wings now but the problem is the old paint is 60 years old and about 1/4 of an inch thick and really taking some sanding

thanks for the comments lads,
it's a huge project, every part needs refurbing, the plan is to have it finished and back on the road by the end of july 2009 as the Alvis owners club have a meet at Garstang in august and it would be great to get it there.
