6k is white and the best one, anything 8k and above is asking for trouble really.

Mines 8k, never had any trouble from police etc, had them in about 3month now.

I thought the lower k the brighter the bulb?

why do most people go for 8K +?

looking on hid direct, they all look decent, jus not sure what K, wont some thing that i will not get pulled for, yet will be bright

The lower the k the better visibility.

Yess i had 8k and it was quite blue and obv the best light is white. So 6k would be ideal.

6k would be spot on yeah. I got 8k, but wished i had of gotten 6k now. HID Direct is also where i got mine from, came 2days later, spot on.

Oh yeah I get that, but they just think they're incorrectly adjusted. When in fact the beam pattern is at the bottom of their bumper most of the time, they are just bright.

Which is why they are usually in projector style lenses on factory fitted applications.

Thinking about getting some soon though, but don't want to spend much as im tight
