iv got a mate who's parents run a good scaffolding business, but he's bone idol, wont work for the company and wants everything done for him. iv told him to wake up and smell the coffee, he could one day own it!!
Too true. I have been into my music for many years but when I realised it's not going to happen I mentioned doing a bit for my Dad. He was over the moon when I asked him and said he's always wanted me to work for him. The first 6 or months were difficult but I'm slowly working up and learning everyday. Plus I really enjoy the trade and knowing that I have a stable job with great prospects for the future. And the fact that my Dad is proud of me and my work, well thats worth its weight in gold to me.
its a great laugh on site, one of the best environments to work in if you like laugh.
tbh i wouldn't mind working for my dad at all, and id love to take a family business on from him and keep it in the family

Now to start working on him to let me borrow it......
