You turn TCS off? I never bother I think it's superb TBH, better than on our original Astra VXR, must be something to do with the smaller wheels.

agreed at the Ring it felt a bit more planted then the VXR's we went out in with the DTM drivers.

Pace was a bit different

I don't usually bother, but sometimes I like to play down the back roads, and you can only really get proper performance without that poncy TCS system kicking in, no matter how smooth your entry and exit and power application.

IF its tight on the exit, you can't get the power down, get that TCS system off. Sometimes it'll light up, but thats the joy in trying, maintaining the speed without lighting up, but getting maximum drive out the bend.

The Chicane at snet was terrible, every lap, so so easy on the throttle on the exit, or TCS TCS TCS

Well i've been riding to work for the last week with an oil leaking bike, with oil on the rear wheel, in the cold icy mornings, riding on the slippery salt of the roads........

It just makes it more interesting, you can have a LOT of fun in the rain, just gotta go a bit slower (and that on a bike u'll get wet in your leathers ).

I'm not sure I could cope with riding a bike again, the only advantage is getting home in 7 minutes rather than 25mins.

Riding on the road is dangerous now.

Still wont give up though. Savings alone justify it over a car. And i don't do traffic, ever..... Through it or round it, try never to be in it.

Again, it seems either peoples intelligence has dropped recently or peoples ability to drive properly has decreased in the 10 years I've been driving.
