typically, by the time your low oil pressure light comes on that means your engine is fucked. Oil pressure is one of the most important things, ever.

On old cars I'd agree, but now day's they are sooo sensitive that you've got some warning now

If I had an oil pressure guage fitted back when I had the 1.2 8v in I wouldn't have had a siezed engine!

Not that the 8v was much to save but by time warning light come on, and I had chance to pull up damage was done!

Like Isaid Dan - old cars.

But, if it came on on our cars, I garentee that if you pulled over and shut the engine off quick enough, all would be fine.

Nah, ripping him is enough

Just had a meeting and gave the bloke a formal warning. He tried to be funny about it then when i said it was in view of 2 of the security camera's he backed off
