cant tell if its a remake or a different take on it, as Friday the 13th wasnt jason it was his mother. Also Jason doesnt run and move fast like that.........
Then again cant be worse that jason in space

Its not a remake, its a reboot.
The same characters and that but a different storyline, it thats actually possible considering all the 'Friday' films were the same.

They're doing the same with the new Nightmare on Elm St film.
