What happens when you have had points for 3 years? I was under the impression that they stay on your licence for 3 years but you declare them for 5 years?
For example, I received 3 points exactly 3 years ago and wondered how I go bout them on my licence and go about getting them removed.
How does it all work?

i think they count in the totting up thing for 3 years
you can get the police to remove them off you r license after 4 years
you have to declare them to insurance for 5 years

Yes... not only did I pay a fine at the time and higher insurance premiums for 5 years...I then have to fork out to have the bastards removed!!!

I got 7 points in June of 2005, and 6 on July 2007. This meaning i have a TT99.
Yes - im a cock.
Anyhoo....................
Is there any chance of any of these coming off, or do i have to wait till the TT99 finishes??
